About ADHD planners generally

Are digital planners good for ADHD?

They can be — the format removes two classic failure points: losing the planner, and pages that run out or judge you with dates. But "digital" alone guarantees nothing. A static PDF can fail exactly like paper does. What matters is the design: visible, forgiving, restartable, and quick to capture into.

Interactive vs PDF — what's the actual difference?

A PDF planner is a picture of a planner that you write on inside an annotation app; the page never changes or helps. An interactive planner responds: tap to complete, totals add themselves, unfinished work carries forward, rotations advance. One asks your effort to do everything; the other shares the work.

Do I need a tablet and stylus for a digital planner?

For most digital planners currently sold — yes, they're built for GoodNotes-style apps. Ours are designed phone-first, typing and tapping, no stylus needed, because the best planner is the one on the device already in your hand.

What if I've failed with every planner I've tried?

That's the most common starting point our readers describe, and it usually says more about the planners than the person. Our article on why ADHD and planning clash explains the four mechanical reasons systems collapse — and the restart-first design that survives them.

About this site and our planners

Can I buy your planners now?

No — nothing is on sale yet, and we won't pretend otherwise. The planners are in development. Each category guide states where its planner has got to, and will say plainly when it is ready to buy.

Will the planners be a subscription?

No. One price, once, and the file is yours — including working offline with no account. We think a budgeting-and-planning tool that quietly charges you monthly has misunderstood its audience completely.

Which planner should I start with?

Most people: the life planner — it holds everything in one place. If one area is loudest, start there: cleaning for the home, budget for money, student for school, daily for days that keep dissolving. Every guide explains who it suits and who it doesn't.

Do you offer refunds?

Nothing is on sale, so there is nothing to refund yet. Our refund policy page states this plainly and will carry the full, real terms before the first planner can be bought.

About ADHD itself

Is this site medical advice?

No. We share planning tools and everyday strategies. Nothing here diagnoses, treats or advises on ADHD or medication. If you need support with ADHD, please talk to a qualified healthcare professional.

I don't have a diagnosis. Is this site for me?

If planning systems keep failing you in the ways we describe, the guides may well help — the design principles (visible, forgiving, restartable) help many people, diagnosis or not. What we can't do is help you work out whether you have ADHD; that's a clinician's job, and worth doing properly if the question matters to you.

A note on what this site is: Planners for ADHD shares planning tools and everyday strategies. This site is not medical advice and our planners are not a treatment for ADHD. If you need support with ADHD, please talk to a qualified healthcare professional.
